Up-to-date engineering, materials, and technology having been tested in ocean racing step by step found their way to production cruising and allowed to design a new type of sailing boats witch are easy-handle fast cruisers. Two hands more than enough for this 12-meter boat steering and all so you can invite your friends not familiar with sailing aboard as well as retire for romantic cruise. Sophisticated cockpit ergonomics, reliable autopilot integrated into rudder system help to enjoy nature and have fun. Spacious interior, two or three separated cabins, central about 13 m² saloon with height of 1.90 m, stylish furnishing and present-day equipment make you home comfort. Some technical solutions as built-in water ballast tanks, rotating and retractable keel as well as rudders, carbon hull reinforcements, carbon mast, 100 m² of sail area, and just about 3700 kg dry weight displacement make the boat as fast as real Sea Express. Imagine less than one-day fresh-breeze St. Petersburg–Helsinki cruise, two days to Stockholm, and four days to Kiel being aboard of the private sailing boat! Another important feature is the rudders and keel design giving a chance to visit any attractive places at shallow waters deeper than 1.5 m. Auxiliary power is also impressive. Under diesel engine of only 28 hp she runs at 10 knots. It increases safety because you can reach the nearest safe harbor when the weather is going to be rough.

The boat is under production by well-known St. Petersburg based boatbuilder Kompan Marine, which have united their practical experience in the project. Kompan Marine is known for ultra light displacement (ULD) racing and cruising sail-trailers made from fiberglass and carbon reinforced plastics. The project came from the drawing board of Alexander Taranenko and embraces some know-how tricks he accumulated for many years of boatbuilding experience tested in his earlier designs.

Owner of the company, Alexander Taranenko, have nursed the idea to build a fast cruising sailing boat for a long time and here it is. The boat is designed to meet СЕ requirements for A (Ocean) category.
